How we compare offers
How we show you loan offers.
We believe you should see every option that fits you, in the same format, in an order you can understand. Here is exactly how it works.
Our principles
Three promises for every search.
Neutral
We do not promote any lender. Offers are ordered by criteria published on this page.
Complete
We show every matching offer, and list the lenders that did not match your request.
Transparent
Each offer shows the APR, EMI, tenure, charges and a link to the lender’s Key Fact Statement.
Matching
How matching works.
You share your needs
Loan amount, tenure, income and employment details, with your consent to check offers.
We check with lenders
Your profile is matched against each lender’s published criteria.
You see every matching offer
All matching offers appear in one list, plus the lenders that did not match and why, where available.
You choose and apply
You apply with the lender you pick. The loan agreement and Key Fact Statement come from that lender.
Ordering
How offers are ordered.
The order never depends on which lender pays us more.
- Default order
- Lowest APR first
- Other ways to sort
- Lowest EMI, highest loan amount, shortest tenure
- When offers are equal
- Alphabetical by lender name
- Paid placement
- None. Lenders cannot pay to appear higher.
How Firstfund is paid
Lenders will pay Firstfund a fee when a loan is disbursed through our platform. This fee does not change the order in which offers are shown.
What you pay
Firstfund does not charge borrowers. Any processing fee or other charge comes from the lender and is shown in the offer and the Key Fact Statement before you apply.
